Age/Perspective
Where children festoon,
we see bare and clean
(Though we are children too -
stooped, perhaps, but gregarious
at times.)
But mostly we see cleanly,
and that is our stinging, bitter vision.
Salt eyes, lemon sight.

I love the word 'festoon.' you get a 'fest' AND and 'oo'!
