Hoop Dreams

UConn v. Butler

Just wait 'til he finds the shooting pocket.
0.4 seconds in the arc of a jumpshot.
Hoop dreams for babies named Skyler.
Three in a row and he's on fire.
Red-brown flames around spiderweb glass.
Twisted smoke and the air up there.
He'll scrap & claw 'til he gets his 10.
Allegories of life, or at least analogies.
Big dunks for the big guy. Don't forget
To box out.
