If by Woofyard

If you can hold your leash while all about you
are losing theirs and letting dogs run wild,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
(Disaster is Triumph's doggy child)
If you can bear to see the doggy's doodies
and stoop and pick 'em up with plastic bags
then you can get a dog, my son!

MORE POEMS ABOUT DOODY

She walks in doody, like the night
