Sex/Gender/Virus

Since the baby’s a boy, I may have
male DNA in my bloodstream.
The midwife said that I may be allergic to
male DNA in my bloodstream.
It’s kind of a trip to be almost-maybe-possibly
male in some sense, in my bloodstream
for a few months, until the baby is born
and the virus-like DNA leaves, and the blood streams.

  1. Yikes! allergic to those boys until we bleed them out of us!! A dad can infect a mom with his maleness!!!! Kind of "Runaway Slave at Pilgrim's Point"y, but less horribly tragic and evil. Just normal-pregnancy-creepy!!
