14, 15

Alighting from bus into
city center walking in
lemony light past first blooms
and some green hesitations
"open season has begun"
till I'm tired and stop off for
a drink that's how I get free

*

Delaware, Susquehanna
Rusted heaps of Baltimore
Earthing on the rest stop grass
Dropping crusts for patient birds
Lady Lib's Jersey backside
"Beef jerky in a ballgown"
As much dream as pure vision
