Double 8

The movie review told me
what I hadn't seen about
my own arc from "inciting
incidents and tidy ends"
(film, LA) to "everyday
moments" (poetry, New York).
Rhythm is the main difference.

But you don't always get to
choose: as soon as you curl up
in the everyday, a frayed
wire in a storm might lash the
house. Why be a spectator
of your own life? Well, because
I like to see what happens.

  1. "as soon as you curl up in the everyday, a frayed wire in a storm might lash the house" - this is so great!
