subway talk part ii

We almost missed the revolution.
But that's revolutionary! jokes Mr. Martov.
Mr. Lenin frowns. He says that he will be ready
in, like, half an hour. He's almost done listening
to Beethoven's The Appassionata.

    I have seen the poem to which you refer, and it's true, the revolution gets caught up in the swelling passion.
