Rejection (draft)
They will beat the child out of you
Sooner or later
Some say sooner, some say
Sooner still.
The mooner
Crestess
Cresses
Breathing
Labrios
Ballus
Trade
We are or we aren't
The fuck is
Knowledgy
Fuck fuck
Otocracy
They say beat the moon
Over child's hearing
Why say the wise men
and women who
Say why child must die
Or be subdued
In order to
Alive.
There is no rebellion.
There is infancy and
Perennial
Beating the drum
Of change
Beating the drum
Of pain
The child lives
Anarchic.
In order to walk
Your legs must be broken
In order to walk
Your back must be broken
We provide the neck brace and
crutches
But walking
's impossible
Until (lest
You notice)
Legs truly heal
And your mind that
Is healing
That's rationalization.
***
Loading me up
With luggage,
Then yelling
At me
for not keeping up
Running
