Joys and Sorrows

At the Unitarian church they told their joys and their sorrows.
Great sorrow: loss of a close cousin - loss of a parent - boys who lost their grandparents -
Great joy: daughter another year older - daughter's first Easter - Murray the dog - this community -

In 2007 we asked each other
What is the greatest emotion a person can feel. I said Joy.
They rolled their eyes. Too allegorical.

It is possible to experience many joys
and many sorrows in a single day.

Spell for something they wanted so badly, they can't even say it.
Spell for understanding between two people who love each other.
Spell for sharing a great sorrow.
Spell for taking on her burden.
Spell for love, friendship, community.

  1. Love the first spell especially ... some spells are private!
