vii. Duration

A brood of sturdy men are standing fast
Along the wall, a patch of lusty sun-
Flowers following the light like a class
Undivided in their firm attention.

Let’s dream, and charge into the thick of night.
The spool of fullness unravelling toward
Morning, toward recollection, toward the cit-
Ation of recent past in mem’ry stored.
